Each hand-crafted Fine Art Pen was hand-turned and hand-crafted “on the back porch” in Round Top, Texas (population 77).
Square Bottom Corporation takes in namesake from the quaint, rural, ranching town of Round Top, Texas. Facing the loss of a lone, magnificent, sprawling century-old oak tree on the homestead of Neumann Farms, I decided to preserve a piece of history and make pens for my entire family. Because these original pens were so sentimental and priceless remembrances, I decided to pursue my passion and love for crafting high quality, collectable pens for friends as well.
As my excitement for the craft grew, my sense of adventure and creativity also grew. I currently handcraft and sell custom WOOD PENS, ANTLER PENS and HORN PENS.
Each and every custom turned pen is completed by hand, starting with the highest quality mechanisms and fittings available. I do not use a duplicating machine like some penmakers -- that's not really hand-crafted. Each of my writing instruments is turned one at a time, by eye, so no two pens are ever quite alike, making them great for collectors. Additionally, the natural materials guarantee a one-of-a-kind writing instrument.
Each and every writing instrument is hand-selected, hand-crafted, and then hand-packed for shipment. Most orders ship within 7 days of placing the order, but express service is available. Also, each pen includes a free solid maple gift box.
